Samen met BRUT Collective transformeerde artecetera de Broeltoren tot een gelaagde arena, waar de creaties van meer dan dertig (inter)nationale ontwerpers, architecten en kunstenaars met elkaar in dialoog gaan. Bestaande structuren worden bevraagd, onverwachte verbinden gelegd en maatschappelijke thema’s als verstedelijking, erfgoed en collectiviteit worden tegen het licht gehouden.

Verspreid over de drie verdiepingen van de noordelijke Broeltoren - met zand en licht als scenografische rode draad - onthult Arena haar diverse betekenislagen: fundament, constructie en debat. Als plaats in beweging biedt Arena plek voor dialoog, twijfel en frictie.

artecetera vzw nodigt haar vrienden graag uit om de tentoonstelling te ontdekken in bijzijn van de kunstenaars en samen bij te babbelen bij een hapje en een drankje.

Together with BRUT Collective, artecetera transformed the Broel Tower into a layered arena where the creations of more than thirty (inter)national designers, architects, and artists enter into dialogue with one another. Existing structures are questioned, unexpected connections are made, and societal themes such as urbanization, heritage, and collectivity are examined.

Spread across the floors of the northern Broel Tower - with sand and light as scenographic red threads - Arena reveals its diverse layers of meaning: foundation, construction, and debate. As a place in motion, Arena offers space for dialogue, doubt, and friction.
