Je wordt rondgeleid door één van de curatoren — Sofie Lachaert of Siegrid Demyttenaere — die je meeneemt in het verhaal achter de expo. Op aanvraag en volgens beschikbaarheid kan ook kunstenares Nadia Naveau aansluiten voor een bijzondere ontmoeting en extra verdieping.

The Distorted Party,
onderdeel van het lille3000 Fiesta-festival in het historische Hospice Comtesse in Lille, verkent hoe schoonheid, chaos en feestelijkheid samengaan in een wereld vol onrust.
Kunstenaars Nadia Naveau (BE), Audrey Large (FR/NL), Kenny Dunkan (FR) en Willehad Eilers (NL/DE) dagen traditionele ideeën over vreugde en escapisme uit. Hun werken – van speelse sculpturen tot meeslepende installaties – tonen hoe tegenstellingen als rust en chaos, traditie en verstoring, naast elkaar kunnen bestaan.
Zo nodigt The Distorted Party bezoekers uit om de complexiteit van vieren te herdenken en de tegenstrijdigheden van het leven te omarmen.
